Lupins, when you see these you know summer is coming

Family, whether it be your littlest neice,,
your youngest sister, your furry kids, or your
crowd of all of them...these are the times that I cherish in my heart and will forever....Being together and making memories is what life is all
about ...love one another..if you argue, say your
sorry and cry and get over it..hug and move on...

Mom and dad taught us that no one is any more special than any of us...be kind to others and treat all you meet with love and respect....

They met at our beach when they were teens, married , had us their legacy...we keep their memory alive in us, through us and for us..all the grow and become better people..

Many of our Memory Plants...

Two hearts met at a beach,
Fell in love, lived, shared and cared ,
Forever they are remembered in Their
Memory Garden.....

My mom loved Dragonflys, butterfiles and hummingbirds!

My special neices, my fur boys and their furcousins at the cottage.

Me, Tanned at my sanctuary, The Cottage...

Makenna, this little neice makes me laugh...

May 28th 2012, As the sun was out this summer we decided to stay home and take care of our home CHORES, the gardens, the sheds, the lawn, the gazebo, the potted flower pots, all the HOME STUFF...believe me I wanted to be at the Cottage in the gorgeous weather...after all was done I decided to make an afternoon treat for my bff neighbour on her deck...we had sunny drinks and fresh appetizers( you have to love anything with cucumbers..so fresh:) After my visit with her, I went to see my Senior Neighbours...whenever I need my Parental Fix I visit them...nothing does the heart better than listening to the advice of those who have already done that been there....What a heart filled, friend filled , neighbourly weekend.... suns Out, Love Karen

Brisby, my furkid.....strong silent and a lot like his dad, stubborn.

Whiskee, my other furkid, needy, high strung and a mommy sticker...like me.
Soon it will be June, and I will be another year older, another year wiser and another year wiser. I will still miss my Dad on Fathers Day, and I will miss my Mom on my birthday..( she always let me have my special bday supper and cherry cheese cake for my bday cake)...my little sister Rach will come to make my day special....

Our Memory Garden, Dedicated to Our Beloved Parents.
This blog is for me to share my life and my memories of my wonderful
parents Jeanne and Owen who were taken away from us
way to early from cancer...my mom was 55, and my dad was 60...
it was only two years apart when our lives had the biggest change we will
ever experience...Loss.....

  1. What a passionate and sweet posting. My heart goes out to you for your loss of both of your parents at such an early age. I lost my father at the age of 59 (heart attack) I still have my Mother. Yes, the older I get, how I realize we need those older and wiser with us. It is such an important part of life! You will be in my prayers..until next time...keep enjoying LIFE! Blessings....from one sweetie to another...Roxie
